The Hokore pendant is a pure work of art. The play of the light and shadow will add a sculptural feeling to any setting.
 
Hokore means proud in Japanese, and the lamp's inspiration is the strength of a flower bud growing into full bloom. Using the traditional art of takesensuji, a technique traditionally used to make insect cages and paper lanterns, the lamp builds on tradition while adding a modern look and use.
 
The lamp is carefully handcrafted in Japan by the artist Tani Toshiyuki and bamboo masters using nearly 1,000 bamboo strips.
